2025 at CaseFox and MatterSuite: Building Smarter Legal Tech

2025 at CaseFox & MatterSuite: A Year of Building Smarter Legal Tech

A year of expansion and intent for CaseFox.

2025 brought a shift in expectations. AI moved from being a topic of debate and became a part of legal practice. Lawyers stopped asking whether AI would replace them and began using it to work faster, think more clearly, and stay focused on what actually matters.

As AI made its way into every conversation in the legal industry, we spent 2025 adapting and advancing our platform to stay ahead of the curve. This mindset shaped everything we launched in 2025: from accessible AI tools inside CaseFox to the debut of MatterSuite, our next-generation platform built for firms ready to go further with AI.

As our user base grew and expanded across regions and practice types, the responsibility to build reliable, practical legal technology grew with it. What we focused on in 2025 wasn’t just adding features, but getting the fundamentals right for how legal work is actually done.

Introducing MatterSuite: Built for Complex Legal Work

2025 saw a surge in the number of cases. Legal work became more complex than before. As the work became more interconnected, teams kept switching between tools, looking for important documents and conversations across too many places. Important context lived in inboxes, spreadsheets, and sticky notes.

With the launch of MatterSuite, we aim to bring that context back together. Designed for in-house teams and large law firms, it simplifies the modern legal process, which is getting more complicated with each passing day. It unifies matters, attorneys, ownership, and real-time visibility, which helps teams navigate through complex matters while staying aligned.

MS Ask: AI That Knows Your Legal Work

MatterSuite comes with a dedicated legal AI assistant – MS Ask, which is built to work inside the context of real legal matters. MS Ask brings intelligence to the workflows the lawyers already use. It closes the gaps traditional tools leave behind. Whether it is drafting legal contracts, checking conflicts, or finding key clauses, it provides structured outputs while keeping work organized and audit-ready.

MS Ask goes beyond basic automation and guides users through workflows, suggests context-aware prompts, and integrates firm templates with AI drafting. It assists legal teams in navigating complexity, staying aligned across matters and stakeholders, and making informed decisions without switching between tools.

Legal Work, Anywhere (Mobile App)

Legal work rarely ever stays on the desk. Courts make deadlines tighter, matters keep evolving, and updates arrive when lawyers are between meetings, or even during holidays. In 2025, we focused on bridging the gap between lawyers and their cases to make sure legal work wasn’t just tied to a laptop or office hours.

With CaseFox and MatterSuite mobile apps, lawyers get the same clarity and control over their matters as they do with a desktop. Matters, case updates, tasks, and deadlines stay accessible wherever work happens. It is built to support real workflows that are always on the move. Because progress shouldn’t stop, even when lawyers step away from their desks.

Working With the Legal Community

2025 was about going beyond product development and staying connected with the legal community. To stay relevant in legal tech, we deepened our collaboration with bar associations and legal institutions. This ensured our platform continues to reflect how legal work is actually practiced, not how it is assumed to work.

Through partnerships with bar associations across regions, we stayed connected to conversations happening on evolving workflows, technology adoption, and the role of AI in legal work. These interactions helped us keep up with the profession’s standards, expectations, and real-world challenges.

Less Navigation. More Getting Work Done.

As CaseFox evolved and expanded its capabilities, clarity became as important as functionality. We spent 2025 focusing on refining the CaseFox experience for the users, to make everyday workflows simpler and easier to navigate.

From making a clearer interface to more intuitive navigation, each update was introduced to lower the friction of busy legal days. This allowed users to spend less time figuring out the platform and more time getting the work done. The end result? An experience that feels lighter, more responsive, and simpler to use, even as the features keep growing.

Setting the Stage for 2026

2025 was all about intentional building. The tools, platforms, partnerships, and improvements were not just the responses to the moment.

We focused on getting the fundamentals right. From practical AI, clearer workflows, to platforms that legal teams can rely on. These foundations will now give us the space to build from here, more meaningfully and without rushing features or chasing trends.

As we move into the next year, our focus still remains the same: to improve what already works. This means refining AI to be more contextual, strengthening workflows across CaseFox and MatterSuite, and continuing to provide unwavering support to legal professionals as the work grows more complex.

We are not chasing what’s next just for the sake of it. We are building what legal teams will actually rely on today and in the years to come.
